Description

ClearVue Technologies, in partnership with Helios Power Co. Ltd., has developed new metal-backed solar panels designed for building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) rooftop and car park systems. These panels use metal backplates to create a weatherproof barrier, extend roof life, reduce heat transfer, and improve fire safety and wind resistance. Two variants are available: steel backsheet for easier maintenance and aluminum backsheet for lightweight roofs. The panels have received IEC 61730 (2023) and IEC 61215 (2021) certifications and are pursuing Clean Energy Council certification for the Australian market.
