Description

The Cleveland Browns are constructing a new indoor stadium in Brook Park, Ohio, designed by HKS of Dallas. The stadium will feature seating rows positioned closer to the field than any other NFL stadium, with the first row just 16 feet from the field. It includes a steep 34-degree grade for the Dawg Pound section to create a powerful wall of sound, a standing room-only bridge, a wide main concourse servicing both upper and lower decks, and a transparent folded plate roof for natural light and snow management. The stadium will have a capacity ranging from 6,000 to 70,000 and can be transformed for various events including soccer, basketball, and concerts. Excavation began on March 2, 2026, with a ceremonial groundbreaking planned for the end of April 2026. Structural work is expected to start after the groundbreaking, aiming for an opening in time for the 2029 season.
