completed

Montreal-based CN expanded its specialized fire suppression fleet by adding two independent firefighting railcars, each capable of carrying 25,000 gallons of water and equipped with cannons, pumps, and hose support. The company also upgraded three existing firefighting railcars to more than double their water capacity and stationed eight additional 30,000-gallon tank cars in strategic locations in British Columbia. Additionally, CN launched a pilot program to test fire trailers holding 350 gallons of water for smaller fires along the right of way.
