Solengy is partnering with IFC to leverage its knowledge, network, and financing capacity to safely accelerate the implementation of its expansion plan. The Company is also interested in tapping into IFC's track record and technical experience in structuring RE energy projects in emerging markets, particularly on the bankability, legal, and technical assessments. Furthermore, the engagement will provide an opportunity to provide technical support and or guidance to align the Company’s systems, practices, and policies with IFC Performance Standards (PS) and help the Company to mitigate and manage ESG risks in line with best international practices. In detail, on the ESG side this Project focuses on supporting Solengy's capacity building to ensure future compliance with IFC PS requirements. The scope of Upstream ESG activities will include: (i) ESG focused training and workshops, (ii) support in the engagement of competent in-house ESG resources and (iii) enhancement of ESG systems, procedures, and controls.
