Economic/Social Impact of the Project 1] Gevra Open Cast Expansion Project - Gevra OC Expansion Project [25 to 35 MTY] is an on-going project approved in June 2010 by CIL Board. Total capital outlay is Rs. 2675.67 Crores. Total expenditure incurred till 31st March 2014 is Rs. 1532.379 Crores. The project has already achieved the rated capacity. EC for 40 MTY [peak capacity under clause 7[ii] of EIA] exists. 2] Kusmunda Open Cast Expansion Project - Kusmunda OC Expansion Project is an On-going project approved in August 2013 by CIL Board. Total capital outlay is Rs. 7612.33 Crores. Total expenditure incurred till 31st March 2014 is Rs.753.418 Crores. EC for 18.75 MTY [peak capacity under clause 7[ii] of EIA] exists. Further Form-I for EC for 50 MTY [peak- 62.50 MTY] has already been submitted in June 2014. EAC held on 17.10.14 for issuing TOR. 3] Dipika Open Cast Expansion Project - Dipka OC Expansion Project [20 to 25 MTY] is an on-going project approved in Dec. 2009 by CIL Board. Total capital outlay is Rs. 1943.66 Crores. Total expenditure incurred till 31st March 2014 is Rs. 1539.323 Crores. The project has already achieved the rated capacity. EC for 30 MTY [peak capacity under clause 7[ii] of EIA] exists. 4] Pelma Open Cast - Project report was approved on 30-07-2008 for 10 MTY with sanctioned capital of Rs. 448.32 Cr. 5] Jagannathpur Open Cast - Project report was approved on 09-09-2008 for 3 MTY with sanctioned capital of Rs. 152.43 Cr. 6] Chhal Open Cast [Seam III] - Chhal OC [Seam III] Project is an on-going project approved in Dec. 2013 by CIL Board for 6 MTY. Total capital outlay is Rs. 610.63 Crores. 7] Baroud Open Cast Expansion [RCE] - Project report [RCE] was approved on 18-04-2012 for 3 MTY with sanctioned capital of Rs. 258.56 Cr . 8] Kartali EAST Open Cast - Project report was approved on 30-07-2008 for 2.50 MTY with sanctioned capital of Rs. 178.44 Cr. 9] Jampali Open Cast [RCE] - Project report [RCE] was approved on 17-10-2011 for 2 MTY with sanctioned capital of Rs. 142.58 Cr. 10] Bijari Open Cast [RCE] - Project report was approved on 26-05-2014 for 1.50 MTY with sanctioned capital of Rs. 164.49 Cr. 11] Mahan - II Open Cast [RCE] - Project report [RCE] was approved on 26-05-2014 for 1 MTY with sanctioned capital of Rs. 113.047 Cr. EC obtained for 1 MTY on 22-10-2007. 12] Mahamaya UG [Aug] - Augmentation Project report was approved on 09-06-2007 for 0.48 MTY with sanctioned capital of Rs. 90.48 Cr. EC obtained for 0.48 MTY on 18-02-2011.
