The project includes a 5 MW electrolysis system powered by a 10 MW photovoltaic installation at Solvay's Rosignano facility, aiming to produce approximately 756 tons of renewable hydrogen annually and reduce CO2 emissions. The project is part of the Hydrogen Valley Rosignano Project and is supported by a 10-year agreement between Solvay and Sapio. Additionally, the Trieste Hydrogen Hub project is underway to develop a green hydrogen energy ecosystem, forming part of the North Adriatic Hydrogen Valley, a cross-border hydrogen initiative involving Italy, Slovenia, and Croatia. |
