The project involves the construction of a new transmission line in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. Cobra IS, a subsidiary of the French construction company Vinci, will be responsible for financing, conception, construction and operation of the transmission line. The project was awarded in a tender by the National Electric Energy Agency (ANEEL) in 2022 and includes the construction of 1,020km of 6x500 kV transmission lines, a new substation, and 8 substation extensions. The concession is for 30 years period. The total amount of the investment is $657m (R$3,484m) and financial close date is October 3th, 2022.
