Description | In December 2014, InfraCo has closed a US$23 million equivalent local currency financing for the 29.7MW Coc San hydropower project in Vietnam. The financing comprised a single loan from Saigon Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank for the project whose total project costs are around $50 million. The details of the debt financing were not disclosed. The financing was to support the development of a 29.7MW run-of-river hydroelectric power project located on the Dum River near Lao Cai city in Vietnam. The project is due to come online in 2016. InfraCo is the majority shareholder in the project company with Colben Energy Holdings(wholly owned by Asiatic Group), HVD Construction and Vietnam Infrastructure Development and Finance Investment holding minority interests.
