Of this US$ 7.3 million, 90% of this investment amount will be financed by the municipality and 10% will be financed by the private sponsors. Construction works are expected to last 4 years and the consortium will operate the network for a 20-year period. Empresa de Luz y Fuerza Electrica Cochabamba SA (Elfec) is a Bolivian electricity distributor that was 50 percent divested (PP&L owns the private share). In July 2007, PPL Corporation sold all of its assets in Elfec and Integra to the Management and Employees of the respective companies. None None |
