The company received a 30 year concession package on electricity generation from the Gabonese government in May 2010. Construction time was expected to be 30 months. Commissioning was expected for 2013. The United Bank for Africa Plc. (UBA), through its subsidiaries UBA Gabon and UBA Capital (Africa) was collaborating with CODER, but no financial close has been reported. The project was valued at $234 million.
