Description

Description

Replacement of existing 150mm cast iron watermain, replacement of existing 200mm Asbestos Cement sanitary sewer and installation of new storm sewer on the following streets in Waterford; College Street from Robinson Road to John Street (740m in length), Arthur Lane from College Street to Mechanic Street (135m in length), Norfolk Street from College Street to Mechanic Street (135m in length) and John Street from College Street to Mechanic Street (135m in length). There is currently no existing storm sewer on streets. The installation of new storm sewer will alleviate drainage issues and past resident complaints about inadequate storm drainage. Existing watermain has deteriorated and has experienced breaks in the past years. Existing sanitary sewer is asbestos cement and is approaching the end of it’s life cycle. The total project will affect approximately 76 residential properties.
