Description | Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania has proposed a $110.5 million rate increase that would raise rates by 11% for residential customers, increasing the average monthly bill from $138.52 to $154.29. The rate increase is intended to fund investments in the safety of the natural gas distribution system, including replacing aging underground pipes. The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PUC) will hold six public hearings in June to gather customer feedback and will issue a ruling by December 19, 2025. The rate increase would take effect in December 2025. |
