Colwood - Metchosin Road Upgrades

The project will improve active transportation by creating a buffered bike lane and sidewalk along a section of Metchosin Road in the City of Colwood. The project will ensure safe passage for non-motorized travel on a section of Metchosin Road. The project will fill a gap in existing infrastructure and will create a safe commute for school children. The project works include: - site preparation including excavation, ditching, clearing and grubbing, sub base and base works; - installation of sidewalks and bike lanes including curb, gutter and driveway crossings; - installation of drainage including culverts, manholes, beehive lawn drain and catchbasins; - installation of gates, bollards and road painting;
