Combat Autonomous Maritime Platform Project - XL-AUV Program

The Defense Innovation Unit and the U.S. Navy have selected Anduril Industries to develop extra-large autonomous underwater vehicles (XL-AUVs) under a rapid prototyping effort. The program aims to rapidly prototype and field extra-large autonomous underwater vehicles to close a persistent operational gap in long-range undersea capability. Anduril will complete a long-duration, operationally representative demonstration of its Dive-XL vehicle within four months of contract award. The company operates multiple Dive-XL vehicles in the U.S. and produces additional units in Sydney, Australia, with a production facility in Quonset Point, Rhode Island.
