Description

The project involves the construction of a storm sewer along Union Street in the Town of St. Stephen. The scope of the project includes the supply and installation of 790 meters of storm sewer, as well as the replacement of the existing water main with a larger diameter water main. In addition to this, the scope of the project also includes the reconstruction of Union Street, including the supply and installation of granular base and new asphalt surface, as well as curb and sidewalk renewal in some areas. The project aims to increase the useful life of assets, decrease maintenance and operation costs, and separate sanitary and storm sewer systems. The project will benefit the community by increasing the Town’s ability to manage wastewater and stormwater as well as increasing access to potable water.
