Description	The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is replacing the Commercial Street Bridge and performing additional roadwork during a 25-day closure of the Parkway East. The work includes paving the Squirrel Hill Tunnel, painting ramp bridges at the Edgewood-Swissvale and Wilkinsburg interchanges, laying a high-friction surface at tunnel approaches, replacing the median from the tunnel to Edgewood-Swissvale, and setting foundations for new streetlights between the tunnel and the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Monroeville. A public safety training exercise will also be conducted inside the closed tunnel.
