Description | The Commonwealth LNG project is a liquefied natural gas export facility located in Cameron Parish, Louisiana. It is a joint venture between Kimmeridge Energy Management Co LLC and Mubadala Investment Co, operating under Caturus HolCo LLC. The project has finalized long-term offtake agreements with several international buyers and is advancing towards a Final Investment Decision. The first phase involves an investment of $12.5 billion and aims to ship up to 9.5 million metric tons of LNG per year, with operations expected to start in 2030. Engineering, procurement, and construction activities have commenced, including manufacturing of major equipment and site preparation works. |
