Description

The project work will rehabilitate and restore wastewater collection and treatment systems in Niisaachewan Anishinaabe Nation First Nation, Ontario. The project work will consist of work on two facultative lagoon cells 1 and 2 including the removal of fauna from the lagoon cells, replacement of lagoon liners in the cells, along with the removal of burrowed wildlife. It will also involve the repair of lagoon berms while replacing two valves and piping between the cells and the replacement of effluent discharge valves and piping. The work will also repair 500 metres of road leading into the wastewater lagoon along with the rehabilitation of a wastewater sewage pumping station (SPS) by replacing four (4) sewage pumps and replacing the wastewater pump vaults #1 and #2, the removal and replacement the SPS’s control systems and electrical panels. The modernization of the pumping stations and control systems will allow for them to be remotely controlled and monitored through the Bimose Trib
