Description | The proposed project will build a new water treatment plant and necessary infrastructure to meet the new provincial Drinking Water Treatment Objectives for Surface Water Supplies. It will also result in the conversion of the Graham Lake Improvement District into a CVRD service area and removing a boil water notice for 91 current properties on fall/winter boil water advisories. The project works will include: - Construction of a new water treatment facility; - Installation of a new ceramic ultra filtration equipment; - Upgraded yard piping to the facility; - Larger water reservoir for treated water; - Upgrades to electrical service and installation of a new standby generator; and, - Residual management/dewatering equipment. |
