Competence development of the guidance community by Euroguidance in Estonia

This is an application for a grant for Euroguidance Estonia for the period of 36 months, starting from 1.04.2021. The main objective is to support the competence development of the guidance community on the European dimension of lifelong guidance. Through the activities we will support guidance practitioners’ professional development so that they will encourage and equally support their clients to seek international possibilities in competence development by modern and innovative approaches and guidance practices. By promoting exchange between other guidance stakeholders we will contribute to the further development of systems, services, and processes both at national and European level. As a member of the Euroguidance network in Europe, we will contribute to achieve the policy objectives of the European Skills Agenda, the European Pillar of Social Rights Action Plan and Erasmus+. We intend to keep our proactive role by promoting internationalisation in lifelong guidance, both at policy and practice level. Impact is aimed on 4 levels: 1. Engagement: The stakeholders are engaged and find the activities relevant to their work. 2. Capacity building: Guidance professionals have improved their capacity with modern approaches to the provision of career guidance and mobility. 3. Implementation: Innovative resources are introduced and implemented. 4. Legacy: New approaches in capacity building of guidance professionals to promote the European dimension of lifelong guidance implemented at system level. There are 3 work packages: Project management, including monitoring and evaluation of the activities; Communication and dissemination; Advocacy, innovation and capacity building. Main deliverables: Campaign to promote mobility and career guidance; Information resources about guidance in Estonia and in Europe; Training, communication and dissemination tools and materials; Reports; Set of cards and a manual for guidance practitioners; Digital teaching resources.
