Competitiveness in Textile Artisanry - Cusco

The project proposes a systematic vision for the dynamization and integration of the value chain of Peruvian artisan goods in the external market, in line with the sustainable development of the area of intervention and the fight against poverty. Its objective consists in promoting processes of local economic development in low-income, depressed areas in the Cuzco Region through their insertion in the international market. This will be carried out through 4 components which aim to develop the skills of producers and entrepreneurs of textile artisanry in terms of information, management, technological innovation, and design, as well as to provide guidance in the formation of associative models with linkages to commercial operators in the national and international markets, fundamental to the achievement of sustainable competitive capacities.
