Description
Description | The metro station accessibility program provides for the installation of elevators in 14 stations to make them universally accessible. This work will enhance the level of service provided in the métro while also meeting the needs of a larger number of users with reduced mobility. More specifically, but without being limited to this list, the deliverables specifically planned as part of this project component that will be funded by the PTIF are as follows: - PROFESSIONAL PRE-INSPECTION SERVICE; - POST-INSPECTION OF BUILDING AND INFRASTRUCTURES; - VIBRATION MONITORING DURING WORK AND OTHER SERVICES; - ARCHITECTURE AND/OR ENGINEERING FOR THE FOLLOWING STATIONS: - JEAN-TALON - JEAN-DRAPEAU - PLACE-DES-ARTS - McGill - JOLICOEUR - ANGRIGON - VILLA-MARIA - NAMUR - PRÉFONTAINE - RADISSON - D’IBERVILLE - ÉDOUARD-MONTPETIT - PLACE SAINT-HENRI - OUTREMONT As part of PTIF list 12, the STM has requested to remove 2 stations, Namur and Radisson stations from the list of planned deliverables and to add 2 stations, Longueuil and Atwater stations. The STM justifies this change because other work is currently being carried out at the Radisson and Namur stations, causing a scheduling conflict. The addition of two new stations thus makes it possible to respect the scope of the project. |
