This project involves implementing the network necessary for redundancy of the Longueuil and Saint-Hubert computer rooms and developing the information technology plan for the Réseau de transport de Longueuil (RTL) as a whole. Following the 2016 fire (adjacent to the STL building), the need for information technology (IT) back-up was put forward. The deliverables planned for this initial phase are as follows: 1. Redundancy of the Saint-Hubert and Longueuil computer rooms at network level (switches, system configuration, back-up procedures between rooms, etc.) This work is necessary to use the redundancy features of the new SANs (storage units) installed in 2016. 2. Identify critical services and the IT back-up required for each. Evaluate the requirements to ensure that these services are backed up to the expected level of detail. Implementation of this IT back-up system will take place in 2018.
