The project involves the Improvement of interurban road transit service on the Conchucos longitudinal highway of the Ancash region, Peru. The project includes three sections:Section 1, 80 km long, covers the PE-12A - Pasacancha - Andaymayo - Paloseco - Pomabamba route;Section 2, 84 km long, covers the Pomabamba - Piscobamba - Llumpa - Llacma - San Luis route; andSection 3, 62 km long, covers the San Luis - Huamparan - Emp. PE-14B (Huari) route.A modern highway will reduce travel times, optimize logistics costs, and improve road safety, guaranteeing demanding service levels in terms of trafficability, comfort, and emergency response. It will also feature advanced Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) to improve operational efficiency, monitor regulatory compliance, and optimize traffic management in real-time, ensuring more efficient and safer travel for all users. It will also help complete regional logistics connectivity.
