Description | Abu Dhabi-based AI and technology group G42 has formalised a commercial framework with the Government of India to deploy "Condor Galaxy India", an 8-exaflop AI supercomputer. The system will comprise 64 Cerebras Systems CS-3 systems powered by wafer-scale engine technology, designed to support large-scale AI model training and inference workloads across sectors including healthcare, genomics, energy, and geospatial analytics. The project builds on the UAE-India digital infrastructure memorandum of understanding signed in 2024 and aims to strengthen India's local AI development, research capabilities, and national-scale AI deployment. |
