Description
Description | Santa Caterina was a 22 MW wind farm to be located in the state of Nuevo Leon, Mexico. The project was sponsored by the NYC-based firm Conduit Capital Partners through it's Latin Power II Fund. GE had been contracted as turbine supplier to supply 8 of its 2.75 MW turbines, with power from the project dedicated specifically to powering public lighting in Santa Catarina. The permitting for the project was granted by Comision Reguladora de Energia (CRE), the federal agency. Conduit announced that construction on the project had begun in August of 2012. It was likely that the project had been financed by this point, however, no announcement had been made; thus the project has been marked for 2013 as advanced development, which most likely should be reversed in the 2014 collection cycle. http://www.conduitcap.com/impro.htm |
