Description
Description | The project “Connaître la législation de l’Union européenne” (CLUE III) aims to increase further awareness of the European Judicial Network (EJN) in civil and commercial matters among French legal practitioners and the benefits it can bring them when faced with a question on EU legislation. The objective of CLUE III is to build on the work undertaken in CLUE I and CLUE II projects, which were very successful. One of the main idea behind CLUE III is to respond as much as possible to the concrete needs of the legal practitioners. That is why CLUE III project is based on the feedbacks received during CLUE II and the input of the representatives of the legal practitioners. Another important idea is to strengthen the territorial approach of the EJN in order to help local practitioners who are not used to dealing with EU legislation. Two types of activities will be provided for in CLUE III based on these ideas. The first type of activities will aim at developing the French network and increasing awareness of the EJN among practitioners. In particular, an event will be organised to mark the integration of the court staff in the French network. A roadshow will be set into place in order to allow a five-person team to travel in five different tribunals in order to meet with local practitioners. The second type of activities will aim at training practitioners on EU legislation on judicial cooperation instruments in civil, commercial and family matters. Different deliverables will be produced: training seminars and roadshow seminars (the latter will be tailor-made to the difficulties raised and the needs expressed by the practitioners during the visits of the roadshow) and a webinar will be organised; three computer graphics, one mind map and one practical guide will be created. |
