Description

Description

With this application for 26-27, e.p.a. connects the hope to build on what we have achieved with the support of the CSC grants in the past years: to address the severe impacts of socio-political and economic changes on the lives of young people, such as inequality, discrimination and social exclusion. Our proposal, motto: ‘connect, plan, achieve’ is aligned with EU Youth Policy objectives, focusing on access to Equal Opportunities, Inclusive societies and democratic Youth Participation. european playwork association, e.p.a., an ENGYO based in Hamburg coordinates a network of partners in Europe and beyond, all engaged in International youth work in challenged communities in the EU: young people with special needs, refugees, minority backgrounds, fewer opportunities. With our competences, expertise and capacities, e.p.a. will continue sustaining partnerships, playing an essential role in the EU Youth Strategy, advocating for the rights of disadvantaged young people, encouraging them to actively engage in dialogues with stakeholders and policy-makers. e.p.a. empowers young people and youth workers through capacity building activities, such as International Youth Exchanges, Seminars and Multiplier events. e.p.a.’s proven inclusive methodology, recognizing the value of non-formal learning, the horizontal, transparent structure; responsive intercultural communication: all facilitate young people’s full participation. They ensure the sustainability of the networking, as well as the confidence to share and open up to develop innovative ideas, co-create new initiatives. e.p.a. will collect testimonies of life changing encounters and proofs of the vital ‘impacts’ of e.p.a.’s international cooperation in the field of youth. Thanks to European support like the CSC grant, e.p.a. as a small network, can continue to encourage many small people in many small places all over Europe to take initiatives and join in the democratic struggle for a life in Europe in solidarity and dignity
