Description
Description | The CEEYOUTH4EUROPE project, spanning over two years, aims to foster collaborative and participatory dynamics among youth Europeans, steaming from the determination of the Consortium to Connect, Engage, and Empower youth workers and disadvantaged youngsters across Europe (“CEE” youth). The Consortium has been defined ensuring a full geographical coverage of Central Europe: (YouthProAktiv from Belgium (COO), Stitching Codine from the Neatherlands & planIMPACT from Germany; North Europe (TAVO Europa from Lithuania, Keep the Change from Latvia), South Europe: (Fundación Diálogos from Spain, InfinityGreece from Greece, Lota’s Box from Croatia) and Eastern Europe (reGeneracja from Poland and ARCHE from Romania). The project is designed to tackle 3 identified needs: (1) a lack of awareness of EU policy frameworks among youth and youth workers, particularly regarding the EU Youth Strategy; (2) low democratic participation among disadvantaged youth & (3) persistently high unemployment rates among youth, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds. To address these challenges, the project will implement: 12 webinars on the EU Youth Strategy & European Youth Goals; 2 physical trainings of 4 days for youth work empowerment, 2 physical trainings of 3 days for youngster’s direct dialogue with policy-makers; a high-level conference at the European Parliament; a youth ambassadors network; 10 dissemination webinars at the local & European level; producing 2 sensitive deliverables and 8 public deliverables. In total, the project will directly engage: 480 disadvantaged youngsters and 1320 youth workers in WP2; 80 youth workers for WP3; 80 disadvantaged youngsters and 20 youth workers in WP4; and 48 youngsters (a minimum of 10 being disadvantaged or directly related with disadvantaged communities), and 151 youth workers in WP5. 2500 youngsters are expected to be engaged as indirect participants through WP5. |
