Connecting Young Barents

The Barents region during the last few years faces the problem of the Youth outflow to the central and southern parts. This project is intended to create Communication network for the young people in the Barents region. It will give the youngsters the opportunity to share their successes, to meet and communicate with other youngsters, and as for youth workers it is a great possibility to establish contact with potential partners in the field of youth initiatives. The Communication Network is pointed at infecting young people with enthusiasm to live in the North, to inspire them feeling charm of living in the Barents region. The overall objective is to make contribution to the identity building of the people, living in the northern regions via culture, to promote people-to-people and civil society contacts at the local level.
