Description | Project #2013-06: Livestock Exclusion Fencing and Gully Repair is part of the Conserving Our Watersheds Program that assists landowners with stewardship activities that improve water quality and wildlife habitat. The project included fencing out a riparian corridor with several constructed rocked headcut repairs, willow wattles and numerous willow stakes. The objectives of the grant were to 1) reduce potential pathogen delivery into a tributary to Keys Creek with a livestock exclusionary fence and 2) arrest erosion caused by livestock and concentrated overland water flows. |
