Description | Project 2014-01: Gully Stabilization and Repair, was part of the Marin Resource Conservation District’s Conserving Our Watersheds Program. The program assists agricultural operations with stewardship activities that improve water quality. This project installed a rocked grade stabilization structure to arrest a headcut in a pasture. The erosion is expedited by the result of concentrated storm water flowing through a series of culverts under roads then over the pasture thence into a small tributary. The objective of this project was to reduce sediment loading into the Keys Creek watershed. |
