Description | Project #2015-11: Livestock Fencing and Water Development is part of the Conserving Our Watersheds program that was created to assist landowners with stewardship activities to improve water quality and wildlife habitat. The objective of this project was to increase livestock distribution throughout the ranch and reduce potential pathogen concentration entering Lagunitas Creek. The project installed permanent fence along Lagunitas Creek to restrict livestock from accessing the water way. The project also provided upland water developments to provide alternative water sources for livestock. |
