Description

The Project consists of building a new drinking water treatment plant in the City of Drummondville, Quebec, to replace the existing building which has reached the end of its useful life. The new infrastructure will be built on land adjacent to the existing plant. The scope of the Project will benefit 65 836 residents of the city of Drummondville and surrounding municipalities of Saint-Majorique, Saint-Germain-de-Grantham and Saint-Cyrille-de-Wendover. The project scope includes construction of the following infrastructures : • a 3,100 m² new drinking water treatment plant and required components for the pumping of raw water, settling, filtration, disinfection (including new process for the ozonation, biological filtration and UV disinfection) and pumping of treated water. The new infrastructure will have a capacity to treat 69,500 m³ of drinking water per day; • a new screening station to replace the current installations located inside the existing building; • landscaping of the cons
