Construction of a Multi-use Pathway on the Extension of Léo Street in Sainte-Catherine

The construction of the multi-use pathway is part of the construction of a new boulevard on Léo street to provide residents a new link between Highway 132 and Saint-Laurent boulevard. The future multi-use pathway will be roughly 855 m long. The project includes a walking and cycling path, a vegetated area (grass, trees and shrubs) for stormwater retention, and street curbs. It also includes two crosswalks to the future transit terminal at the corner of Léo Street and Highway 132, street furniture (benches and trash cans), street lights (41), and six crosswalks between the three proposed plazas. Pavement markings and signage will be included in the project to guide vulnerable users and keep them safe.
