Construction of a New Covered Outdoor Skating Rink

The project involves the construction of a covered outdoor skating rink in the municipality of Beaumont, which will own and operate the asset. The work will consist of repositioning the existing ice rink in line with the prevailing winds and providing it with a concrete surface. The main components of the project are: •site preparation, including filling works; •cutting down 7 trees (some are sick); •construction of the ice rink; •construction of the courtyard including a closed and heated area for recreational, sports and maintenance equipment; •installation of curtains around the courtyard; •rehabilitation of the site after completion of the work; and •related work as required. This project will allow the municipality to provide its population with access to better quality recreational infrastructure.
