Description

Description

The project consists of building a new harbor master’s office. The new two-storey building will be managed by the Centre de villégiature Dam-en-Terre, a non-profit organization (NPO). The works include the development of the following spaces: A ground floor comprising: - a reception and reception room for rentals; - showers and toilets; - locker room; - a gallery and a waiting area; - a kitchenette; - an office; - a mechanical room and a concierge. A floor comprising: - a kitchen and a dining room; - showers and toilets; - a concierge service; - lockers and an outdoor storage area for bicycles accessible to the public; - a terrace. Also included are excavation, foundation and landscaping. The ground floor and the first floor will be used for the needs of boaters and the community as well as cyclists, snowmobilers and those related to nautical activities. Note that the City of Alma will be the owner of the building, that the Centre de villégiature Dam-en-Terre is the site manager and that Rio Tinto Alcan is the owner of the land. In this sense, the company and the Town signed an emphyteutic lease.
