Description | The project consists of the construction of a new Ultraviolet (UV) disinfection building in the Town of Grand Falls-Windsor. The scope of the project includes the construction of a new building to house the UV disinfection system. This new infrastructure will help address both future increase in wastewater flows requiring treatment as well as to improve the effluent quality. This building is part of a broader many other upgrades to the city’s water treatment system. The project aims to meet the Provincial effluent quality requirements. The project will benefit the community by increasing its capacity to treat and manage wastewater. |
