Construction of an aquatic center

The project consists of building an aquatic center comprising: In the basement : - an elevator; - a mechanical room for the elevator; - a link leading to the existing arena. Main floor : - administrative offices; - a vestibule; - changing rooms; - a room for teaching swimming; - a multipurpose room; - storage aeras; - a maintenance and sampling room; - washrooms; - a mechanical room; - a pool mechanical room (filtration and pump) - a staff room; - a lifeguard room; - a 4-lane pool with diving boards and universal access; - a recreational pool with deck and water games; - an infirmary; - maintenance areas; - a link leading to the existing arena. Second floor : - a multipurpose room; - storage space; - bleachers that can accommodate around 80 people, including 3 for people with reduced mobility. The project also includes site development work including, among other things, a new parking lot with approximately 60 spaces. The Department of Recreation and Culture of the City will manage the facility once the work has been completed. In addition, the city has acquired the land where the work will be carried out from the Commission scolaire de Portneuf.
