Construction of an Outdoor Recreation Court at Crossings

The purpose of the project is to: 1. Design and install an outdoor multi-purpose Court at Crossings subdivision. 2. Provide access for all ages and varying ability to an outdoor court that can be used for 3 season 3. Provide access to recreational activities for all ages, income and ability. The project scope consists of the design, supply and installation one 45’ x 70’concrete pad, outdoor 40’ x 66’ multi-use court with basketball and Pickleball systems and fencing. The project will: 1. Provide greater access for low-income families to use outdoor spaces. 2. Provide greater access for seniors to use outdoor spaces. 3. Provide greater access for all ages with varying physical and mental disabilities. 4. Serve all residents of Ramara, Rama First Nations, Township of Severn, City of Orillia and Kawartha Lakes. 5. Serve two senior/resort communities. 6. Serve the seasonal residences and tourist who stay in the area.
