Information Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas has come up with Construction of Aviation Fuel farm Facilities at Bhogapuram Airport with a ticket size of 240 INR Crores. This project in Oil/Gas/LNG Storage sub-sector involves The current status of the project is Notice to Proceed and is being developed through the EPC route. Economic/Social Impact of the Project 1. Scope- Design, Build & Development of the Fuel Farm infrastructure and ITP facilities for Greenfield International Airport at Bhogapuram [near Visakhapatnam], Andhra Pradesh.2. Objective- HPCL entered into a concession cum sub-license agreement with GMR Vishakhapatnam International Airport Limited [GVIAL] on 22nd July 2024. Design, build, finance, develop, operate, manage, maintain and transfer of the Fuel Farm infrastructure and into - plane [ITP] facilities & services for a Concession Period of 20 years at the Greenfield International Airport at Bhogapuram [near Visakhapatnam], Andhra Pradesh. This report is pertaining to construction of the Fuel Farm Facility.3. Salient features of the project- Concession Cum Sub-license Agreement with GMR Vishakhapatnam International Airport Limited [GVIAL] on 22nd July 24 for built, operate transfer of the Fuel Farm Facility. The proposed facilities include-Tankages- ATF 7500 KL [3x2500KL].- Fuel hydrant system [to be executed by GMR at the cost of HPCL]- 6 bay TT gantry with 4 bays for TT receipt and 2 bays for Re-fueller loading- Pump house & allied facilities.- Firefighting facilities to meet single fire contingency to meet OISD norms.- Leakage detection system for fuel hydrant network & CCTV, TAS, Instrumentation etc.- ETP, MCC room, Sample room- Admin office building, Office for ITP Operation and Other allied facilities.3 nos. Refuellers, 8 nos. Dispensers, 1 no. Pit cleaning vehicle & Vehicle for ITP and Fuel Farm operations 4. Project Cost and Completion Date- The approved cost of project [phase-I] is Rs 240 crores with scheduled completion date of 31.03.2026.
