The objective of the New Drawbridge is to make traffic in the area more efficient, positively affect the contamination of the river by algae and its accessibility by boat, and facilitate trade by boat while avoiding continuing to pay the high maintenance costs and operation of the current bridge structure. The project looks for generating a positive social impact on the inter-municipal accessibility of Greater Santo Domingo, contributing to the citizen's quality of life. |
