Construction of Garage Côte-Vertu

The Côte-Vertu garage aims to add parking spaces to park additional metro cars, which will eventually improve the frequency of service by adding trains on the orange line during peak hours. This project is also intended to support the growth in ridership planned for the coming years and to ensure an increase in the service offer with a view to a possible extension of the blue line. The chosen scenario consists in building a garage and a connection tunnel at the back-station of the Côte-Vertu station, allowing the addition of 10 parking spaces as well as the installation of a laneway in front of the station in order to improve the operational flexibility of the metro network. In addition, the maintenance pit, currently located behind the Côte-Vertu station, will be moved to the garage. More specifically, but not limited to this list, the specific deliverables under the FITC-funded project component are: - SYSTEM SIGNALING / SUPPLY RADIATION AND CALIBRATION CONCRETE ...
