Construction of Low Impact Development Stormwater Management Facilities in the McVicar Creek Basin

This project includes the construction of five (5) Low Impact Development (LID) stormwater management facilities within the McVicar Creek watershed. Funding includes $12,000 from Environment Canada (Great Lakes Sustainability Fund). The project sites are to be located on: - Bruce Street & Theresa Street (#1) - Biofiltration facility to treat 52 cubic meters of runoff from approximately 0.8 hectares of drainage area, footprint 115 sq.-m; - Bruce Street & Theresa Street (#2) - Biofiltration facility to treat 28 cubic meters of runoff from approximately 0.4 hectares of drainage area, footprint 62 sq.-m; - Olympia Place - Biofiltration facility to treat 99 cubic meters of runoff from approximately 1.4 hectares of drainage area, footprint 218 sq.-m; - Hinton Avenue - Biofiltration facility to treat 572 cubic meters of runoff from approximately 8.3 hectares of drainage area, footprint 625 sq.-m; - Hartviksen Street - Biofiltration facility to treat 37 cubic meters of runoff from approximately 0.5 hectares of drainage area, footprint 81 sq.-m;
