Description | A localized section of the water main at the intersection of Maplehurst Avenue and Carling Avenue will be replaced. The 152mm water main in Maplehurst Avenue passes through the bottom of the 900mm storm sewer in Carling Avenue and connects to the 406mm water main on the north side of Carling Avenue. As part of this work, a 90m section of new water main will be installed on Maplehurst Avenue from Birchdale. This will eliminate part of a Vulnerable Service Area from the system. Road surface reinstatement will be completed as part of the project. |
