Description | Loretta Ave is currently serviced by combined sewers that are require to be separated to reduce combined sewer overflows by several hundred litres per year to the Ottawa River. There are 965 metres of combine sewers of sizes ranging from 225 mm to 300 mm built in 1930 that will be replaced with separate new sanitary and new storm sewers. There are no sewer needs in Laurel St. There are 1050 metres of watermains built in 1925 ranging in size from 152 - 200 mm in Loretta Ave and Laurel St require replacement due to poor condition and presence of lead services. Full road reconstruction including curbs and sidewalks will also be included with the project. |
