Construction of the Campbellford Recreation and Wellness Centre

The project will consist of constructing a new, multi-purpose recreation and wellness facility which will replace the existing obsolete center, arena and swimming pool, in Trent Hills, Ontario. The work will involve the construction of a 66,000 square foot pre-engineered building that will feature an NHL-sized ice pad, a fully accessible 25-meter, 4-lane lap pool, a 120 square feet therapy pool, a fitness room, an accessible viewing area, offices, canteen, and a multi-purpose room for programming. Work will also involve site preparation, installation of water and sanitary systems, hydro servicing, construction of the parking lot and curbing, as well as commissioning of all systems. The decommissioning of the existing building will not be part of this project. The project will meet the highest level of accessibility standards and will enable all citizens of Trent Hills to access inclusive recreation services and programming closer to home, and will replace the aging, obsolete recreation infrastructure present in the municipality.
