Construction of the De Montarville park-and-ride lot

The project provides for the construction of a park-and-ride lot at the loop interchange Route 132/Montarville (Exit 18-E) at the current Montarville terminal. The aim of the project is to encourage a modal shift towards public transit in the Route 132 and A-20 corridor to meet the growing demand from Boucherville and in preparation for rehabilitation work on the Louis-Hippolyte-Lafontaine bridge-tunnel. The work would involve building 250 parking spaces in order to increase the total capacity of the Montarville parking facility. The contracting authority would be under the responsibility of the Town of Boucherville and the main deliverable will be the opening of the parking lot, scheduled for late fall 2018. The plans and specifications prepared by the Town of Boucherville for tender will be completed in autumn 2017. The call for tenders should be launched in the first quarter of 2018 by the Town of Boucherville. The work should be completed by the Town of Boucherville in late autumn 2018.
