Description

Description

Construction of the new storm water pond and snow disposal facility on West Brook Drive. Build a snow disposal facility that will generate a capacity of 357,000 cubic metres to address a capacity shortfall. The snow stock (height: maximum 15m) pile will maintain a 100m setback from the residence to the east and a 4m high berm will be provided along the east side of the site for sound attenuation. • Lighting will be provided along the internal road and the dump pad. • The face of the snow storage area will be oriented in an east-west direction so as to maximize the south facing exposure. • A snow meltwater pond (with bottom and sides lined with a manufactured liner) for quality control including an oil/grease interceptor. • A storm water pond on-site with a footprint of between 4 - 5ha. • A lowering of the upstream invert of the existing culvert at the Highway 417 outlet to improve on-site drainage
