Description | The Project will construct a new water treatment plant in Shawanaga First Nation on Village Road (Shawanaga Road North) and connect to two new groundwater supply wells. The work will include the construction of a treatment building, well pumps, treatment equipment meeting all regulations, high lift pumps, hydropneumatic tanks, Programmable Logic Controller and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition systems, instrumentation, and installation of a backup generator. The project will fund improvements to water treatment facilities, which will increase access to potable water by increasing the reliability and efficiency of the water treatment infrastructure. |
